The Easter break has been extremely busy with a range of developments taking place in the foundation stage at school. The nursery has been totally redesigned and is now a much larger space with fantastic new areas for the children to learn through play. A new cookery area has been added with a brand new kitchen and a place where the children can work with an adult to create tasty dishes.
The ceiling has been lowered and new flooring makes the nursery an outstanding learning environment. All walls have been plastered, skimmed and painted and now look even more professional than they ever have done before. A new role play area provides the children with regular opportunities to develop their communication skills through drama.
All three classrooms and the shared area are now of a very high standard and are filled with brand new resources. The children will no doubt continue to make excellent progress as we move into the summer term.
Images of the completed work will follow shortly.
