Making Soup

This week in Forest School we have been hunting for birds in our forest and talking  about the facts we have learnt about the sparrow, robin, magpie and blackbirds over the last few weeks. After this we read a book called ‘Pumpkin Soup’ about some animals who liked to make soup together and how important it is to share the resources, equipment and work together as a team when making things. Always remember to be a good friend. We had great fun designing  our own soup from moss, feathers, mud, stones, sand, pine cones, grass, leave, stick and water. They looked disgusting and we were glad we didn’t have to taste them. When we finished we made list of all our ingredients for our recipes.
