This week in Forest School we have been hunting for dinosaurs. We collected dinosaur bones and used our fantastic counting skills to count the bones. We pretended to be archaeologists and dug for bones which we then put back together to make the skeleton of the dinosaur. After this we helped Doris the dinosaur by looking in the forest for her lost egg and promising to take care of it until it hatched. One week later the baby dinosaur is just starting to hatch. We finished the session of by reading a book called ‘Bumpus, Jumpus, Dinosaur Rumpus’ and making our own triceratops.
