As many of you may know, over the past year, our friend Ronnie has been receiving treatment for leukaemia at Manchester Children's Hospital. The children worked around each editing station and corrected their partners work and helped them to improve it. They went and re-wrote their stories changing the parts they had edited. Adding adjectives, adverbs, similes, metaphors, and more complex sentences.
This week in Forest School we have been hunting for dinosaurs. We collected dinosaur bones and used our fantastic counting skills to count the bones. We pretended to be archaeologists and dug for bones which we then put back together to make the skeleton of the dinosaur. After this we helped Doris the dinosaur by looking in the forest...
