Year 1 Cooking Club

Today in cooking club with the Year  one children we made cheese, tomato and mushroom puff pastry tarts. They smelt and tasted delicious. The children got to work with puff pastry,learnt basic chopping techniques (the bridge hold) to chop the vegetables and also how to safely use a grater to grate cheese. There was only one grated finger which needed a blue plaster.
