Our children travelled to Tatton Park for an action packed day all about the Anglo Saxons and Vikings. They learnt how to weave, made clay pots, ground their own flour and even learnt how to behave when in battle.
At Corpus Christi, we are always proud when the children independently choose to continue their learning outside of school. This week, Zachary in year 5 brought in a lego model of The Highway Man which he has built alongside his literacy homework. We love to see your creations, please bring them in and show your teacher.
Year 5 have been diving into dictionaries! As part of our current work based on 'The Highway Man', the children have identified and highlighted any language they have not understood. They have then used dictionaries to find definitions and create their own definition flap books.
