Tonight in cooking club we got in the holiday mood by making Greek salad. We enjoyed tasting feta cheese for the first time and we preferred black grapes in our salad instead of olives. Just the thing for a hot sunny evening.
Tonight in cooking club we made the healthy snack twice baked jacket potatoes. We used a grater to grate our cheese safely and we practised our chopping techniques to cut tomatoes and peppers.They looked and tasted so delicious.
Final cooking club this week for this group. We had a busy evening making apple crumble and chocolate goo. To make our crumble we used apples which had been grown in our own fruit orchard. We used the rubbing in method to make the topping and then took them home to cook and eat with custard or ice cream....
