Nursery made vegetable soup today.
We peeled, cut and stirred the soup. Miss Smith boiled it in the pan, then we took turns to blend it.
We buttered some bread to dip into the soup then we sat down to eat.
We all agreed it was very yummy!!
Nursery have been exploring Autumn vegetables. We looked at them, how they felt and smelt.
Then we cut into them to see what was inside. We enjoyed using knives and spoons to pull them apart.
Tomorrow we are going to make some vegetable soup!

The last few weeks in the nursery we have been planting sunflowers. We have talked all about what plants need to grow soil, water, sun and insects like bees and ladybirds who help plants. Then we painted our own sunflower pictures.
Football fever swept the Nursery this week.
The children have been practicing their skills, training up for the World Cup in 2038!
Led by their coach, they were instructed to pull their socks up and warm up by doing press ups.
The Girl's had a fantastic time at the Greater Manchester School Games.
They represented Oldham in the under 10's category. They qualified but were knocked out in the quarter finals.
