Robin Class have been learning all about Polar Bears this week.
They have enjoyed learning interesting facts about polar bears and all about where they live.
The children used their scissor skills to create their own polar bear.
Nursery had a great time going over and under the PE equipment. We learnt balancing skills and took risks. We love "We're Going on a Bear Hunt" story so we tried using benches, mats and climbing equipment to understand the prepositions. We were scared of falling at first but once we learnt to balance we had really enjoyed it.
Nursery made vegetable soup today.
We peeled, cut and stirred the soup. Miss Smith boiled it in the pan, then we took turns to blend it.
We buttered some bread to dip into the soup then we sat down to eat.
We all agreed it was very yummy!!
Nursery have been exploring Autumn vegetables. We looked at them, how they felt and smelt.
Then we cut into them to see what was inside. We enjoyed using knives and spoons to pull them apart.
Tomorrow we are going to make some vegetable soup!
Football fever swept the Nursery this week.
The children have been practicing their skills, training up for the World Cup in 2038!
Led by their coach, they were instructed to pull their socks up and warm up by doing press ups.
During our Planet Earth topic,
Robin Class are learning about Antarctica and looking closely at penguins.
This week, we created our own penguins using a range of media and materials. We shared our knowledge of penguins too.
