What a day! Robin Class had an amazing day visiting Chester Zoo.
We loved seeing all the different animals and learning all about them.
We loved every minute!
Have a look at all the fun things we got up to...
During our creative design lesson - we designed, painted and cut out our Charlie and the Chocolate factory display. In Literacy, we designed our very own edible palace and wrote a descriptive piece to describe every detail.
Robin Class received a special 'icy' letter today.
They were set a special mission to help Elsa save Anna from the ice.
They investigated which material would be best to melt the ice.
Robin Class worked in small groups to discuss and investigate the different material.
We found out that hot water was the best... and we helped save Anna.
Some of our Year 3 and 4 children have been studying fractions of amounts, using real life contexts such as cake recipies and prices of items which could be sold in a supermarket. Their work is looking fantastic and will soon be ready to go up on display!
