Today in forest school we have been learning all about hedgehogs. We found out that they like to eat worms. slugs and woodlice so we went on a hunt in the forest to see if we could find any hiding underneath the wooden logs. Some of us were brave enough to have the worms on our hands and touch...
Elfie the Elf surprised us with a party today.
He has been trying very hard to be kind and well behaved this Christmas,
and he wanted to say sorry for all the cheeky things he had done.
He called his friends, Superboy and Superwoman and asked them to come to our party.
We forgive you, Elfie!
Today, we welcomed our families to watch our nativity.
Thank you to our fantastic EYFS children for performing an AMAZING nativity for us all to watch.
It is hard to believe that these children are so young!
We are extremely proud of them.
Well done Early Years!
In our Caritas lessons, we have been learning all about sharing and how it is important to always think of others and how they feel.
Each child was given 20p and with this, they had to go and buy a small item for our hamper.
As always, our families were extremely generous.
We invited Andrew in from the Oldham Foodbank.
Our topic last term was ourselves, so today in the forest we decided to make our own faces. We collected stones, berries, twigs and leaves then we all made our faces from clay on the side of the trees in the forest. They looked fantastic, some of the faces were cross and some were happy and it was good...
During RE today, Robin and Sparrow class joined together for the Baptism of baby Molly Mary.
We have been learning all about welcoming others and how we welcome people in to God's family.
We had our own Baptism for the baby and welcomed her in to God's family.
After our Baptism, we had a lovely welcoming party.
We started Forest School today in Sparrow Class. We noticed that all the leaves on the trees are starting to turn brown, yellow and orange and are falling from the trees because it is Autumn time. We played lots of games and sang lots of songs in the forest. We learnt our Forest School rules, so we can be...
We have been busy today, making a new home for the worms of Corpus Christi.
We made a wormery using gravel, soil, sand and leaves.
After we searched our Forest School for some worms.
We hope they enjoy their new home.
Thank you for the wonderful support from all the children in the nursery and reception classes for taking part in The Cancer Research Race for Life. We had a lovely run round the field and finished the event off with some sensational dancing. Thank you to all the parents came along and cheered us on. We have raised so...
