What a day! Robin Class had an amazing day visiting Chester Zoo.
We loved seeing all the different animals and learning all about them.
We loved every minute!
Have a look at all the fun things we got up to...
Robin Class received a special 'icy' letter today.
They were set a special mission to help Elsa save Anna from the ice.
They investigated which material would be best to melt the ice.
Robin Class worked in small groups to discuss and investigate the different material.
We found out that hot water was the best... and we helped save Anna.
During our Planet Earth topic,
Robin Class are learning about Antarctica and looking closely at penguins.
This week, we created our own penguins using a range of media and materials. We shared our knowledge of penguins too.
Today in forest school we have been learning all about hedgehogs. We found out that they like to eat worms. slugs and woodlice so we went on a hunt in the forest to see if we could find any hiding underneath the wooden logs. Some of us were brave enough to have the worms on our hands and touch...
Elfie the Elf surprised us with a party today.
He has been trying very hard to be kind and well behaved this Christmas,
and he wanted to say sorry for all the cheeky things he had done.
He called his friends, Superboy and Superwoman and asked them to come to our party.
We forgive you, Elfie!
In our Caritas in Action lessons, the children in Robin Class have been learning all about sharing with others and being thankful for what they have.
They have talked about their special gifts and how they can use them to make the world a better place.
Today, the children worked together to help spread love around the school. They created hearts...
Today, we welcomed our families to watch our nativity.
Thank you to our fantastic EYFS children for performing an AMAZING nativity for us all to watch.
It is hard to believe that these children are so young!
We are extremely proud of them.
Well done Early Years!
