This afternoon, Woodpecker have been exploring the school listening out for different things that make sound. We have also been experimenting with a tuning fork and rice on a drum to show how sound comes from vibrations.
This afternoon Woodpecker class have worked extremely hard drawing their matching half of Tudor portraits. With a lot of perseverance, we have created some fantastic portraits which are now ready to go up onto our new Tudor display.
Some of our Year 3 and 4 children have been studying fractions of amounts, using real life contexts such as cake recipies and prices of items which could be sold in a supermarket. Their work is looking fantastic and will soon be ready to go up on display!
Woodpecker have been working extra hard building a variety of motorised objects using lego this morning, well done woodpecker they look amazing!
